On Saturday afternoon, October 12 Benoni’s George Thomas showed he is a boss at playing slots when he won this year’s Peermont Reel Deal Slots Tournament which was hosted at Emperors Palace. After claiming six of the ten finalists spots available to Emperors Palace players in last week’s semi-finals he showed it was no fluke as he took the R500 000 (R250 000 in cash and R250 000 in FreePlay) first prize in Saturday’s final as well as R20 000 (R10 000 in cash and R10 000 in FreePlay) for finishing in fifth spot and R10 000 (R5 000 in cash and R5 000 in FreePlay) for also coming ninth. Other winners included:
Rio Hotel Casino and Convention Resort’s Dimakatso Mogomotsi who went on to claim second place in the contest winning R140 000 (R70 000 in cash and R70 000 in FreePlay).
Thaba Moshate Hotel Casino and Convention Resort’s Judiah Mnisi who went on to claim third place in the contest winning R80 000 (R40 000 in cash and R40 000 in FreePlay).
Mmabatho Palms Hotel Casino and Convention Resort’s Seatlhodi Mosupa who went on to claim fourth place in the contest winning R30 000 (R15 000 in cash and R15 000 in FreePlay).
